Medusa
I've never quite known how to put a price on Medusa.
At one point I considered pricing her in relationship to what I had invested out of pocket in therapy during the period of healing from which she emerged. But ultimately, I've realized I don't want to reduce her value, or that experience, to an equation.

TRIPARTE TAROT
What began as a 78-day art challenge that emerged through an alchemical constellations retreat with Seeing With Your Heart in the Hudson Valley in Fall 2023 became a multi-year, 300+ hour practice of art alchemy and soul-tending; one that accompanied me through a profound period of healing and transformation.
The complete work consists of 78 individually hand-illustrated Tarot cards that emerged through a series of residencies in Martha’s Vineyard made possible by Seeing With Your Heart.
Inspired by Pamela Colman Smith's iconic imagery, each card was created through an emergent 16-step process involving handmade journal paper, archival inks, beeswax, wampum shell, hand-carved stamps, intonations of the Gayatri mantra, herbal infused binding agents created in correspondence with celestial movements, moving meditations in collaboration with land, hand-scribed miniatures of the Emerald Tablets of Hermes, selected celestial cards from the sold-out E M E R G E N C E Oracle Deck infusing hidden messages throughout the deck’s tripartite spine, and more.
To my knowledge, this is the only Tarot deck in the world sealed in beeswax and burnished with wampum shell.
The cards are housed within three handmade sacred boxes incorporating additional original artwork and symbolic elements, making the Tripartite Tarot not simply a functioning deck, but a singular, complete work of art.
