Each piece carries the frequency of playful curiosity, creative devotion, and a 16-year evolution of healing, discovery, and soulful expression.
Woven through each painting is a living signature — the imprint of presence, inspiration, and love for the unfolding process itself. What began as handmade paper pulped from personal journals has blossomed into a form entirely its own, alive with the spirit of transformation.
Mounted on hand-painted silk and ready to gift, these bees arrive as a soft but powerful prayer — a celebration of beauty born from the depths. They honor the unseen hands that guide us, the joy of co-creation, and the quiet devotion it takes to tend the Soul and honor its unfolding.

Pollinators, including the Honeybee, have been thematic to my work and life, serving as signature guides since the launch of my former silk painting business on 10/10/10.
In spring of 2020, contemplating Rudolf Steiner’s commentary on the honeybee:
“One only begins to understand the life of the bees when one knows that the bee lives in an atmosphere completely pervaded by love”
led, in synergy with tracing the Rose of Venus, to the emergence of a 108 Honeybee illustration, which blossomed into a series of 44 mandalas exploring seven generations of ancestral hands, sparked by a quote from Joseph Campbell nestled into the margin of the final chapter of Julia Cameron’s The Artist’s Way:
“Follow your bliss, and you’ll be met with the support of 1,000 unseen hands.”
These creative curiosities connected me with Emily and Dan of Seeing With Your Heart the following year, who helped make the papermaking residency in Martha’s Vineyard in Fall of 2023 at Seastone Papers a reality so much more inspiring and soul-nourishing than I had ever imagined possible!!
Five years later, another emergence of 108 Honeybees is taking form, in synergy with new Venusian work emerging, inspired by the mythology of Inanna, as Venus stations direct and rises as Morning Star.
