Himalayan Dreamscape, limited edition silkscreen, signed and numbered

$40.00

I never could have imagined how following the sound of a drum into downtown Kennedy Plaza in Providence, RI on one of the first warm days of Spring,

would lead me to wandering through the heart of the Himalayan mountains and connecting with children in schools throughout Nepal via Shri Yoga the following year….

….or how this monumentally heart-opening experience would go on to inspire a series of free community events celebrating the majesty of mountains and awe of nature, through combining illuminated silk painting to live chamber orchestral performances of Copeland’s Appalachian Spring via Aurora Collaborative in 2019,

…or how this life-changing experience in Nepal would later become commemorated as a painting, which would later journey on to becoming a guiding archetype in the 63-card E M E R G E N C E Oracle Deck.

…all from people gathering to drum - and choosing to dance, and let my body be moved by the sound.

Himalayan Dreamscape is a hand-pulled screenprint of an original ink illustration of Mount Thamserku, created on-site in the Eastern Lukla Valley of Nepal while trekking with Driftwood Adventures in April 2018.

Working both en plein air and from imagination, I tended to this illustration most evenings after our simple, delicious, Nepalese dinners, following long days of immersing myself in the majestic, holy, sacred energy of the Himalayan Mountains in inspired community.

This series of limited-edition hand-pulled screen prints emerged in collaboration with AS220 studios.

Each print is hand-signed and numbered.

$15 from every sale will be donated to World Central Kitchen’s relief team for the Nepal flooding.

9”x12” silver acrylic paint on acid-free paper

Ships flat.
