It is said that for every 3 bites of food we consume, we have the Bees to thank for at least one of them.

Long regarded as divine messengers and companions to the muses, these precious pollinators exemplify harmonious, life-giving interdependence: nourishing themselves, their community, and the generations forthcoming, while at the same time, perpetuating a more lush, fertile, beautifully biodiverse ecology; one that endures, sustains, fortifies, protects, nourishes, heals, and harmonizes.

The Bee gives Life to Life.

This emerging body of artwork aspires to embody and emanate the Way of the Bee, furthering the messages of these Divine Messengers through presence, curiosity, community, beauty, and beingness.

Bees model a way of being that weaves a more harmonious whole and contributes to the emergence of a nourishing, regenerative, biodiverse ecosystem.

The lessons they reveal is nothing short of miraculous: the fruits of their labors yield sweetness that one can literally taste, smell, heal, and be nourished, illumined, and delighted by, while at the same time, perpetuating the fruiting and seeding of a more ecologically diverse, sound, and interdependent whole, humming and dancing the song of Creation’s Joy - simply through being and embodying its true nature. 

What might emerge through contemplating these Divine Messengers and the frequencies they embody?

This curiosity led to the unfoldment of this emerging 108 Honeybee Mandala, which isn’t only a gallery of artwork, it’s a living, breathing, prayer and emerging, collective frequency transmission that you’re invited to contribute to and become a part of in whatever way moves you.

To my great surprise and delight, allowing this curiosity of “what would it be like to embody the bee?” to be seen, heard, felt, known, and lovingly tended, has led to the unfoldment of this emerging body of artwork, weaving and braiding 16 years of creative exploration, rooted in self-discovery, transformation, and the Soul-nurturing joy of slow craft- with the Bee as my wayshower.

And while I can only speak for myself, I would venture to say it might very well bee the Bee’s essence that can bring us back into balance, individually and societally, and at the same time, its essence can be infused into systems, structures, and emerging technologies- giving life to life and allowing for a greater emergence of honey-yielding, life-giving consciousness to burst forth and blossom in abundance on this beautiful sacred planet.
